So clearly I have not done very well at this blogging thing. Who has time to write when you are constantly chasing children and snapping pictures all the time? Anyway, I thought I would try and give it a shot again, because it really is a great way for people to keep up with what is going on. The twins are now 2 1/2 and little man is 16 months. It is crazy how time is flying by.
The girls are definitely coming into their own personalities and starting to assert their independence, while little man has finally started walking, at about 15 months, and just smiles and laughs all the time.
Favorite sayings from the last few weeks:
Diva - "I love you so much." (brings tears to my eyes)
"I not too heavy mom, I little." (in response to me telling her she was getting too heavy to carry)
Drama Queen - "That's not a dinglehopper, that's a fork." (while watching the little mermaid)
"I want to be a pink fuzzy pumpkin." (in response to my question of what do you want to be for Halloween)
Little Man - "I did it." (after sliding down the slide on his tummy)
"I don't know." (anytime you ask him where something is)
Favorite Activities:
Everyone loves going on walks and seeing all the birds, ducks, and especially the moon.
The girls are in love with buses and call the short one 'baby buses.' They actually call anything small a baby one, and anything larger a mommy one. They love stickers and coloring and Diva especially loves the iPad, when she is allowed to use it.
Little Man loves throwing a ball and dancing. We went to a wedding this past weekend, and he stayed on the dance floor.
Life with 3 under 3 (ha that could be a tv show!) is fun and exciting and challenging. Everyone is getting bigger and a bit clingy so explaining to one that I can't hold them right now because I have a sibling is difficult mentally and emotionally. The blessings are immeasureable though, and I cannot thank God enough for entrusting me to raise these 3 amazing children.
No word yet on number 4, we are still discussing this option. Ha!
2+1=3
Life with multiples and more. 3 kids 16 months and younger makes life interesting.

Opening Number
So blogging seems to be the in thing to do now, so I thought I would jump on the band wagon. Why not, its not like I have anything else to do. LOL!!
Well, I am sure most of you that read this, if anybody, will know me and my family but just in case you don't know the full story hear goes. I am not, nor have ever claimed to be, a writer so please do not hold this to any high standards.
My husband and I met in 2000 when I started college at Charleston Southern. We both cheered there and, for me at least, it was love at first site. Anyway, fast forward five years and we got married. We bought a house in '07 planning to have children within the next year and needing a place to grow into. Well, we tried for two years naturally and with fertility before getting pregnant with twins!! We were so excited. I have always wanted twins and DH (dear husband) has twin sisters so he was ready. So we welcomed our twins, Diva and DQ (drama queen), in April 2010. DH and I always talked about having 4 kids, but after having so much trouble getting the twins we weren't sure we would be able to have more. We also wanted to adopt, so we just thought we would have to adopt a little sooner than we originally planned. However, just as God blessed us with the twins he saw fit to bless us again. In October we found out we were pregnant, naturally this time. Only one this time, and a little boy. We were so excited to have the opportunity to have another child ourselves, and of course DH was very excited it was a boy. So in June 2011 we welcomed our third blessing, Junior.
So now, we have 2 15 month olds and a newborn. Needless to say it is crazy in our house on a daily basis. This summer has been great as DH and I have been home together with all the kiddos, making it much more manageable. Although, he started football practice a little over a week ago, so I have been on full-time mommy duty for the majority of the day. Some days have been pretty rough, but overall it has been pretty good. I even managed to go to the store, with some friends, and meet some friends at the mall. Although, with my personality I am kind of looking forward to going back to work so I can get back to a to-do list and actually get it accomplished. I am getting better about being at home, but the Lord has not called me to be a stay at home mom, so I head back to work in a week. Luckily, my mother in law loves being a stay at home grandma, so she watches all my children plus some. This definitely makes it easier for me to go to work each day.
So I guess I will close her and post more about the summer later. Thanks for reading about our crazy beginning. Feel free to let me know what you think or offer advice.
